Marketing Intern

This is a pretty badass internship. Second Glass is an events and technology start-up that helps young wine drinkers discover new wines, remember what they like and share it with friends. We throw a large scale wine event called Wine Riot and we need your help with event planning and marketing! You will be working closely our Wine Riot Marketing Director: Rachel Cohen, Founder: Tyler Balliet and CEO: Morgan First! Looking to fill the position for Summer 2012.

Social Media:

  • Help create social media strategies for each Wine Riot city
  • Managing and interacting with our followers on various social media outlets.

Marketing Research in each city:

  • Finding the cool influential people and groups in each Wine Riot city to partner up with and promote through.
  • Competition research and keeping track of what they’re doing
  • Finding other brands that are successful and creatively applying their marketing practices to make Second Glass more badass.

Press:

  • Researching and contacting press
  • Writing press releases with lively vocabulary/energy so the press will have no choice than to write about us.
  • Be ready to exchange multiple high fives when press hits.

Creative Marketing

  • Since we’re a start-up, we’re always looking for a more cost effective and creative solution to make a splash.
