Web Assistant/ IT Intern
A little about you:
- You are up for a challenge and ready to get your hands dirty
- You are interested in wine
- You are energetic and creative
- You are intelligent and well organized
- You are very detail oriented
- You have web/ design experience from previous internships or coursework
- You are 21+
- You are an all around awesome person to have in the office
- You are looking to build an awesome portfolio of work
- You are comfortable with basic html and css
- You are aware of the existence of WordPress and hopefully have used it before
The position requires, but is not limited to:
- Managing and Posting new Content on the Website
- Working with Photoshop to create new images and modify existing ones
- General knowledge of how MySQL databases work
- Understanding or are excited to learn how to integrate web apps like Flickr, Twitter, HighRise, Freshbooks and other plug-ins
- Being creative and brainstorming new ways to display our information
- Helping expand our mobile site m.secondglass.com
- Ability to identify basic office problems and implement a technology solution
- Have the patience to help us integrate some of our outdated technology (we’re a startup after all) without freaking out.
This is a semester-long internship; 15–20 hours per week. This is an unpaid internship, but if you choose, you can receive school credit and you will be “paid” in wine and tickets to our events.
