A little about you:
- You are up for a challenge and ready to get your hands dirty
- You are interested in wine
- You are energetic and creative
- You are intelligent and well organized
- You are very detail oriented
- You have previous writing/copy editing/organizing experience from previous internships/or coursework
- You are 21+
- Work well as part of a team, but can manage and handle projects on your own
- You are an all around awesome person to have in the office
- You are looking to build an awesome portfolio of work
The position requires, but is not limited to:
- Writing copy for the website, newsletter, blog etc.
- Managing/helping to write weekly e-mail Wine of the Weekend
- Posting content on the website
- Copy editing
- Fact checking
- Visiting local wines stores, restaurants, and wineries
- Being creative and brainstorming new ways to display our information
- Knowledge of or ability to quickly learn WordPress
This is a semester-long internship; 15–20 hours per week. This is an unpaid internship, but if you choose, you can receive school credit and you will be “paid” in wine and tickets to our events.
