Former member of the New York City based hip hop group Brand Nubian, Sadat X has gotten a taste for wine. In a series of hilarious, yet surprisingly informative video blogs posted on YouTube, Sadat X reviews wine using his “fucked up factor” scale of 1-10. What begins as an attempt to procure wine samples, Sadat X starts getting pretty serious about the vino. In the first few episodes he sips on wines like Castle Rock Pinot Noir, but pretty quickly dives into the realm of serious in wine like the Cusomano Nero d’Avola and one of his guests, Jean Grae, drops a recommendation for the Juan Gil from Jumilla, Spain.
The episodes also give great advice, like to never, never, EVER switch from wine to Hennessey (which we can attest to as being a bad idea). Check out these videos, especially the later ones as he starts to drop more and more knowledge.
