Okay, I’ll admit it… I was skeptical about the new product we just got in – Wubeez. Basically, they are glass cleaning cloths that are said to be perfect for removing lint, buffs and streaks on your wine glasses. So when I got them in the mail I thought that they were just like dish clothes but better marketed – I couldn’t have been more wrong.
Wubeez are simply kick-ass. Just last night before I poured myself a glass of El Portillo, Argentinean wine, I tried out the cloths on two super large wine glasses. In less than thirty seconds they were perfectly polished and I could literally see myself in the glass.
They were really easy to use and after the glasses I thought it may be interesting to try them elsewhere – they did say that they are multi-purpose and can be used throughout your home. So off I went throughout the house lightly rubbing the cloth on all my electronics, and I can honestly testify that Wubeez really is usable on any glass (or similar) surface; my computer monitor, TV and mirrors are all sparkling clean.
At first I thought they the cloths would be perfect for restaurant owners and sommeliers across the nation to ensure that their glasses were dazzling clean. But after using the cloth throughout my entire apartment and carefully storing it in a kitchen drawer I realized that anyone can use them and appreciate seeing their shiny face in every wine glass, just like me.
As a restaurant manager, I was always struggling with making sure that the staff was polishing the glasses (without breaking them). I received a sample of Wubeez about a year ago and quickly realized that they were the answer to my prayers. We ordered 50 Wubeez and now, our glasses are always perfectly polished and lint free. Our breakage is down to almost zero, the Wubeez have practically paid for themselves in the long run.
Wubeez is a great help around the kitchen. Because we have hard water, our glasses always had spots. Now, I can make the glasses sparkle again, without spots or even fingerprints. This product works.
