For too long have we felt stupid for not understanding overcomplicated wine jargon like “on the nose, I get a hint of jackfruit” and “malolactic fermentation.” For too long have we been tricked into thinking high-quality wine needs to cost a lot of money. My brothers and sisters, the time has come to claim wine for our own!
Who cares if some jackass decided a wine is worth “91 points” on an antiquated scale that was invented before most Americans had ever heard of Chardonnay? Who gives two shits about “notes of new saddle leather, black fruits and burning embers?” Is the wine good? Did you like it? Do you feel it was worth the money you paid for it? These are the questions we have dedicated our careers to answering.
Knowledge is power, and understanding the regions, winemakers and grapes used will not only save you a small fortune, but ensure that you’ll drink the good stuff day in and day out.
