The concept of Chronic Cellars came about in the midst of harvest in 2004. We had used the term “The Chronic” to describe likable objects before, but we had never considered it a suitable descriptor for wine. We sat alongside the crush pad one evening in our wine stained clothes ...
2009 Chronic Cellars Sofa King Bueno
Paso Robles, California, USA
people love it!
Take a second, make sure grandma, small children or easily offended people are out of earshot and say this wine name out loud. Get it? Chronic Cellars is a project by Jake and Josh Beckett, owners of Peachy Canyon Winery, which was founded by their father. With Chronic Cellars, the boys set out to make slammin’ good wine corked into the coolest bottle you’ve ever seen. A kitchen-sink blend of a bajillion Paso Robles grapes, this wine is packed with bursting, juicy fruit followed by deep and complex flavors. You know you want it! Drink it with BBQ, grilled meat and everything else that’s awesome!
Super juicy and loaded with ripe fruit this wine is WAY too easy to drink. There is almost too much fruit at first but after a few sips I quickly fell in love! The label is f-ing awesome and it's cool to find equally as good wine in the bottle! We've decided to make it the Second Glass House Red, which means if you hang out with us, you'll probably drink this stuff.
Great, affordable blend from the peeps at Peachy Canyon, Paso.
Syrah, Tempranillo, Grenache, Mourvedre, Tannat!
Did you laugh when you read the label? If not, read it again! The guys behind this wine just get it! Great label, funny name and just really f-ing good wine inside for $20! If its fruity you want (not too much but just enough) this bottle WILL NOT disappoint! Oh and your friends will probably think you are cool for bringing it too!
