So, Tannat is a grape (again that came from France) with super thick skins that makes deep, dark and delicious reds. They're full of tannins and until recently, they were too intense to drink without decades of aging. Luckily, modern winemaking techniques have solved these problems and the folks in Uruguay are cranking out great wine at unbelievably low prices. You gotta try these dark yet fruit-filled wines!
