We've been singing the praises of Portuguese wines for years now but it's really exiting to see one in the top 5 people's choice at Boston Wine Expo. This is a dry red with good fruit flavors but it's really well balanced, meaning it's not too juicy, not too acidic, not too tannic, everything just seems to fall into place. It's hard to find a red wine drinker that doesn't immediatly fall in love with this wine. Plus, it has the cool factor of being from Portugal. Drink it with bbq pork, grilled mushrooms or all things beef!
