The group of buildings at Ramon Bilbao Bodegas has stood there since 1972 on a plot of land measuring more than 7000 square metres surrounded by vineyards and the outskirts of Haro on the road to Casalarreina. The buildings destined for the production, are fitted with stainless steel vats with temperature controls and a wide upper entrance in order to facilitate the stirring and manual work. The barrel rooms are grouped together in three open-plan buildings; one of them on a subterranean level, adequately acclimatized and with the humidity levels controlled. The bottling room is found in an underground cavern. The main building houses the bottling line, warehouse and offices. In the same way, the bodega also accounts for a visitor’s centre, wine cellar and professional wine-tasting room. All of this adds up to the fact that Ramon Bilbao Bodegas are among the top five bodegas visited in La Rioja.
